Zena Holman and the Promise of Asilomar – June 23

Zena Holman (1891-1980) is one of the people who, beginning in the 1930s, transformed Asilomar from regional retreat into a world-renowned center for the exchange of ideas. Holman’s effort to share her book collection with the people of California exemplifies the spirit of those who sought to use Asilomar to build a better society.
